At Eurofortis, we believe that learning happens best through experience. Since 2014, we have been hosting internships for VET students, job shadowings for teachers, and professional trainings that inspire personal and professional growth. Our programmes combine practical learning, cultural exchange, and innovation — helping participants develop essential 21st-century skills such as collaboration, adaptability, and critical thinking. Whether online, hybrid, or on-site, each experience is designed to bring knowledge to life and strengthen connections across borders.
All mobility and training programmes at Eurofortis are coordinated and guaranteed by Laura Vavilova, an organisation specialist with a background in Tourism Management from the University of Liepaja and extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality sector. Her professionalism ensures that every internship, job shadowing, and training programme is organised with care, quality, and a personal touch.

Teacher trainings
Our KA1 trainings for teachers are designed to inspire innovation, strengthen teamwork, and build high-performing educational communities. Each programme supports schools in creating environments where teachers, managers, and students thrive — fostering lifelong learning, collaboration, and motivation across the whole organisation.
Through a blend of practical workshops and reflective learning, participants explore the latest trends in education, leadership, and digital transformation. Developed in cooperation with the Learn & Lead Innovation network, our programmes combine modern methodologies, a person-centred approach, and progressive learning practices that help schools evolve into smart learning organisations.
The training encourages initiative, idea exchange, and personal growth, while addressing real challenges in today’s classrooms. Whether online or on-site, each course provides teachers and leaders with tools to improve communication, team dynamics, and overall educational quality — turning innovation into lasting impact.
Erasmus+ KA1
Intersnhips for VET schools students
At Eurofortis, we provide tailor-made VET internship programs that combine professional training, cultural discovery, and personal development. Each mobility is designed to match participants’ fields of study and learning goals — from school and company placements to specialised training sessions.
Alongside professional experience, we offer a rich social programme — guided tours in Riga, seaside visits, and cultural or sport activities — ensuring participants enjoy a truly memorable stay in Latvia.
We take care of every detail: comfortable accommodation, local transport, meals including local specialities, and 24/7 support and mentoring.
Each participant receives full administrative guidance, certification (Europass Mobility and host organisation certificates), and the confidence that comes from a safe, high-quality international learning experience.
Erasmus+ KA1
Teacher Job shadowings
Eurofortis organises job shadowing programmes in local schools, giving teachers a chance to explore diverse educational environments and best practices. Each one-week programme includes visits to at least three schools, allowing participants to experience different teaching methods, leadership styles, and classroom cultures.
Rooted in the learner-centred approach, these exchanges help educators broaden their perspective, gain practical insights, and bring new inspiration back to their own classrooms and institutions.
Capacity buildings, Training services and event organisation
Eurofortis designs and organises impactful capacity-building events, conferences, and professional trainings for educators, leaders, and project partners. Whether on-site, hybrid, or fully online, our events are built to engage, inspire, and connect participants through interactive formats and seamless coordination.
We provide complete event management — from planning and facilitation to simultaneous interpretation, technical support, and participant care — ensuring every experience delivers professional value and meaningful exchange.
Learn & Lead Trainings
Trainings for Teachers
Our Learn & Lead training programmes support educators and school leaders in developing modern competencies and transforming schools into learning organisations. The next training catalogue for 2026–2027 will be published in December 2025, helping schools and trainers plan their professional development in advance.
So far, Learn & Lead trainings will be hosted in Latvia, Slovakia, Spain, Austria and Croatia, covering key themes such as the Learner-Centred Approach, Implementation of the KNOWLO model for schools, Application of Intercultural competencies, and Digital skills including AI for teachers — all built on the foundation of personalised, learner-focused development.
VET students Internships
Practical placement for students from EU
Every year, Eurofortis welcomes 50–100 students to Latvia for Erasmus+ practical internships across diverse fields — from technical and IT professions to education, administration, and healthcare.
Students appreciate the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, improve their English and intercultural skills, and discover Latvian culture in a friendly and supportive environment. Many describe their stay as a life-changing experience that helped them grow both personally and professionally — learning by doing, sharing, and connecting across borders.
