Summary

Objectives

The objective of the NEWS project is to collaborate with consortium partners and their member organizations to identify their training needs in relation to rapid digitization and AI integration. The results of this analysis will be mapped to the existing training programs of partner organizations, enabling them to adapt their offerings to current labor market demands - NEWS will also produce policy guidelines flexible deployment of CPD within the organisation.

Activities

The NEWS project will survey a minimum of 100 organisations across the four regions to ascertain their training needs regarding rapid digitisation and the use of AI within the organisation. The results of the survey will be mapped to the current training programmes of the partner organisations and a joint updated catelogue will be established. NEWS will also produce policy guidelines on the effective deployment of these programmes within the organisation.

Impact

The NEWS project will produce a Survey Report of Training Needs based on the >100 organisations survey, a joint catelogue of training programmes that are relevant to current market requirements, a policy document describing how training programes regarding digitisation and use of AI can be deployed effectively within the organisation and a cooperation structure for new organisations to join in and contribute to the NEWS training network.
